Most recently, our Savior, Barrack Obama has stated that he will attempt to pull government out of the private sector of business as soon as possible. But, the US gov't will remain watchful of the public companies and the American taxpayer.

I would have to say that nobody works well while being micromanaged, that includes students, teachers, athletes, employees, and especially Fortune 500 companies. It is hard to make decisions with 300 million people looking over your shoulder. Also, I say actions speak louder than words. Time will tell.
