Rent........and what you can afford.

Many of my friends and b-school colleagues are in the renting stage of their lives, with dreams of ownership in the next 4-5 years. Below are some interesting slide shows on what you can get with $1000 or $2000 in various parts of our fair country. For example, $2k gets you 4 bedrooms and 4000 sq ft in Albuquerque, but only 250 sq ft in Greenwich Village. But, you can see Lady Liberty with a 20 min walk!!!!
